Cat Power is fighting the power.
The 41-year-old singer took to Instagram on Monday night to post a photo of the Statue of Liberty with an accompanying rant against America.
Born Charlyn Marie Marshall, Cat Power wrote that she will be leaving America, only to come back "when those powers that be, take responsibility in hearing the majority voice of the peoples of the United American States and for all whom call it home."
She goes on to target the "false currency" which the country has used "to rape this earth with its lies," before outlining her list of demands, including "a tripartisan" and "a Native American vote." Cat Power ends the rant by tagging a myriad of people and organizations, including Oprah, Vice, Diplo, Beyonce, Rolling Stone, and James Franco.
