Jon Bon Jovi Slams Justin Bieber: 'You're An A**hole' For Starting Shows Late

Who Called Justin Bieber 'An A**hole'?!

Jon Bon Jovi has the whole rock star thing down pat, and he's not impressed with Justin Bieber's antics.

In an interview with the London Evening Standard, the 51-year-old musician slammed Bieber for showing up two hours late to a concert at the O2 arena in March.

“Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new," he told the newspaper of Bieber's tardiness. "They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives — or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives."

The rocker told the U.K. paper that Bieber needs to know that keeping his fans waiting isn't cool, and he can't let it happen again:

“Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool — you’re an asshole. Go to f***in’ work!”

Bon Jovi's admonishment of Bieber might be a bit premature since he's only been late to a handful of shows, but the singer was less than ready to take full responsibility for his lateness after his London concert.

The 19-year-old pop star blamed "technical issues" and claimed he was only a mere 40 minutes late to the London gig. Though he did apologize, the incident happened during a time when the singer was exhibiting strange behavior that had many wondering if Bieber was in the middle of a breakdown.

Bieber hasn't directly responded to Bon Jovi's comments; however he did tweet "I know who I am. #giveback" along with a video referencing some of the many charity projects he is involved with, and later wrote, "focused. #musicjournals."

Whether Bon Jovi's message got through to the Biebs remains to be seen.
