'True Blood' Trailer: Governor Burrell Addresses Bon Temps In Season 6 Teaser (VIDEO)

Down With The Vampires

It looks like the vampires of Bon Temps are in for a rough season.

In the newest "True Blood" Season 6 trailer, Governor Burrell (Arliss Howard) gives a motivational speech to his fellow mortals.

"When humans can no longer walk on their streets at night without fearing for their lives, then we have to take our streets back," he says in the teaser above. "As of this moment, we are closing down all Vampire-run businesses. That is why I say to any of you, buy a gun, stock up on wooden bullets. This is still America. You have the right to defend yourselves and the people you love."

"I can barely remember the last time I wasn't in danger," Sookie (Anna Paquin) says. "I want my life back."
