When we first laid eyes on the leggy Hilary Walsh, we assumed she was a model. Her loose blonde locks, glowing complexion and killer sartorial sense make her someone who could easily be featured on just about any style blog.
But it turns out this lady prefers to be behind the lens -- or so we learned when she invited Elisa Goodkind and Lily Mandelbaum of StyleLikeU into her home.
The photographer (who has lived in San Francisco, Philadelphia and New York) has a very specific style that you just know is totally authentic. Her high-waisted jeans, denim shirt from high school and worn wedges have "morphed into her body" and become an extension of herself.
Walsh's appreciation for good craftsmanship is evident in her work and home, and her perspective on the fashion world is refreshing. In the video, above she lets us into her world for a few minutes and helps us understand what makes her a true tastemaker.
