Mission District Shooting: Triple Shooting Near 16th Street BART

A drive-by triple shooting near San Francisco's 16th Street BART Station rattled the Mission District and led police on a chase through the city early Tuesday morning.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, police received reports of the incident around 3:50 a.m. One person was reportedly taken to the hospital with a life-threatening gunshot to the chest, while two other victims suffered gunshots to the legs.

Policed pursued a Mercedes believed to be connected to the shooting into the Bayview District and found two firearms inside, according to the San Jose Mercury News. Three suspects were arrested.

A police vehicle was reportedly involved in a collision during the incident.
