'The Little Couple': Bill And Jen Meet Their Adopted Son In China (VIDEO)

Bill And Jen Meet Their Adopted Son

On the latest episode of TLC's "The Little Couple," Bill and Jen traveled to China to meet their adopted son, Will, for the first time. Naturally, the day proved to be an emotional one, with Jen tearfully admitting, "I’m just way too lucky. Like, something I didn’t expect to be able to have. You know, first it was finding a husband. And now I actually have a son. I almost feel like I don’t deserve it.”

The couple brought Will back from China in March, shortly before their adoption was serendipitously finalized for a daughter, Zoey, from India. Will and Zoey both have dwarfism like their parents, which lessened their chances of being adopted. Thankfully, Bill and Jen were eager to adopt children with special needs after their own experiences growing up with dwarfism.

"We've dealt with prejudice and many challenges," Jen told People. "I feel very lucky and fortunate that I have the wonderful life I have."

Bill and Jen have been criticized for the double adoption, despite the timing being a total coincidence. "We always thought we wanted two kids in general. What were we going to do, say no? No, of course not ... It wasn’t that we intended to, or tried to, adopt two children at one time. It’s just how the stars aligned, really," Jen recently told The Wrap.

"The Little Couple" airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
