He liked it, he put it a ring on it. They split, but the ring is still on?! Just days after reports that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had officially called it quits, the 20-year-old singer flashed her engagement ring during a video shoot in Los Angeles, Calif. on Thursday.
After three years of dating, the on-again-off-again couple got engaged last June, but the ring hasn't stayed on consistently since that summer. Cyrus has been sometimes photographed with the 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond and sometimes without, sparking breakup rumors even before the couple decided to postpone the wedding earlier this year.
Things also got a bit more confusing when the 23-year-old actor's car was spotted pulling into Cyrus' home after the latest breakup reports surfaced. Then, the singer herself posted a picture on Twitter where she was seen wearing what might be a wedding dress.
Yesterday, sources squashed split rumors and as of this morning, the two "are still living together but have no wedding plans," an insider told People. "They still need to work on their relationship, but after they decided to postpone the wedding, they are doing better," said the source. "They feel less stress and less pressure now. Miley can focus on her music."
Her new single, "We Can't Stop," will definitely debut on Monday. Will her ring make an appearance? That's anyone's guess.
