This weekend will bring another Will Smith movie that, if we're being honest, looks something like many old Will Smith movies. Which isn't necessarily the worst thing, because as the box office tallies show, lots of people love Will Smith.
It looks like "After Earth" will contain the hallmarks of many of Smith's previous movies: It's a big-budget popcorn flick bolstered by action, heroism and even another member of the Smith family.
With the exception of a few outlying films like "The Legend of Bagger Vance" and "Six Degrees of Separation," "After Earth" is aligned with the bulk of Smith's résumé. So where does it fall in comparison with the 17 other movies in which Smith has carried the torch?
