'Crooked Smile': J Cole & TLC Team Up For New Track Off Of 'Born Sinner' (AUDIO)

LISTEN: TLC Is Back With J. Cole

J. Cole has teamed up with TLC for the latest single off of his upcoming album, "Born Sinner."

Called "Crooked Smile," the track made its debut on Monday. Born Jermaine Lamarr Cole, J. Cole collaborated with the remaining members of R&B girl group TLC for the record. After the untimely death of original TLC member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in 2002, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas have reunited and are recording their own music in addition to their feature on J. Cole's single.

The R&B track has Cole celebrating his imperfections, rapping, "They tell me I should fix my grill cause I got money now / I ain't gon' sit around and front like I ain't thought about it / A perfect smile is more appealing but it's funny how / My shit is crooked look at how far I done got without it / I keep my twisted grill, just to show them kids it's real / We ain't picture perfect but we worth the picture still."

He goes on to make an appeal to his female listeners, saying, "Love yourself, girl, or nobody will / Oh, you a woman? I don't know how you deal / With all the pressure to look impressive and go out in heels / I feel for you / Killing yourself to find a man that'll kill for you / You wake up, put makeup on / Stare in the mirror but its clear that you can’t face what’s wrong / No need to fix what God already put his paint brush on."

J. Cole kicks off his Dollar & a Dream tour next week to promote his sophomore album. The tour will be a series of secret shows which fans will pay $1 to attend in the days leading up to the release of "Born Sinner." The album will hit stores on June 18.
