Michael Zegen is the new boy on "Girls."

HBO has confirmed to The Huffington Post that the "Boardwalk Empire" actor is currently taping an episode of the show's third season.

According to Deadline, Zegen will also return to "Boardwalk" as Benny "Bugsy" Siegel when the show returns to HBO this fall. Zegen's other TV credits include several episodes of "The Walking Dead," "Rescue Me," "How to Make It in America" and "Late Show with David Letterman."

Zegen isn't the only newcomer for "Girls" Season 3 -- Jennifer Westfeldt was spotted filming a scene with Adam Driver earlier in May.

But when the third season of "Girl" premieres, it will be without one very familiar face. Christopher Abbott left the series due to "creative differences."
