Hot Chip's 'Dark & Stormy' Debuts As Charming One-Off Single (AUDIO)

A Delightful Summer Song For Your Week

Here's a nice early week boost: Hot Chip's "Dark & Stormy" debuted on BBC's Radio One on Monday night, a charming one-off single that picks up amiably where the band's last full-length left off.

Recorded in London at the Club Ralph studio (like "In Our Heads," their last album), the track will be available on vinyl and digital download on July 22. NME reports that the song's b-side will be a rejiggered version of the band's popular single "Look at Where We Are," featuring Tori and Reiko Kudo singing in Japanese.

Take a listen above and let us know what you think in the comments. For an in-depth interview with band leader Alexis Taylor, head over to our earlier coverage.
