Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-Okla.) ripped President Barack Obama on Monday, saying he's "not fit to lead" because of "vengefulness and lack of a moral compass."
Bridenstine made the comments on the House floor while addressing a number of recent scandals, including the Internal Revenue Service's targeting of conservative groups and ongoing debates about the September 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya. Bridenstine didn't reserve his criticism for Obama -- he also slammed Vice President Joe Biden, saying he's "even more embarrassing" than the president.
"Mr. Speaker, the President’s dishonesty, incompetence, vengefulness and lack of moral compass lead many to suggest that he is not fit to lead," Bridenstine said. "The only problem is that his vice president is equally unfit and even more embarrassing."
Bridenstine also slammed the State Department for what he called a lie about Benghazi.
"The president's State Department lied about Benghazi with false information provided by the White House," Bridenstine said.
Bridenstine has taken aim at Obama before, insisting in March 2013 that Obama's health care reform law is "the biggest affront to liberty in my lifetime."
