WATCH: 'Candy Crush' Movie Trailer Goes Viral

Is a "Candy Crush Saga" movie in the works? With millions of people addicted to the popular smartphone game, it probably wouldn't come as too much of a shock if this were indeed true. For now, though, fans of the King.com game will have to settle for a fake "movie trailer" immortalizing "Candy Crush" and the extreme addiction of some of its players.

Said to be "dedicated to all the Candy Crush and other phone game addicts out there," the hilarious clip, created by YouTuber Nigahiga, references a slew of popular mobile games, including "Angry Birds," "Fruit Ninja" and "Draw Something."

Since being uploaded Tuesday, the video has been watched more than 1.5 million times.

Nigahiga hasn't revealed plans to turn this trailer into something more, but netizens are encouraging him to make the leap.

"I would really pay money to see that movie," commented one YouTube commenter after watching the short.

"The world would watch it," said another.

Currently the world's most-downloaded mobile game, "Candy Crush" has attracted more than 14 million daily active users. Given this huge following, at least a handful of fans probably agree with those YouTube commenters.
