Jennifer Aniston's Chicken Coop Is A Sign That The Home Farming Trend Is Officially Everywhere (PHOTOS)

We agree with eating locally, but does this trend go too far?

Celebs like Martha Stewart, Reese Witherspoon and Ellen Pompeo have recently taken their interest in eating locally to a whole new level. And Jennifer Aniston has hopped on the same bandwagon -- by installing a chicken coop on the property of her new Bel Air love nest with fiancé Justin Theroux.

X17 released aerial shots of the massive 8,500 square-foot home, which Aniston paid $21 million for last year, and you can see the huge pen on the grounds just past the guesthouse and vegetable gardens. These features are part of a $6 million renovation that Aniston has issued before the two move in.

Reportedly, Aniston says the animals are extremely social and like pasta. Hmm. We don't know about you, but we're OK with grabbing our eggs at Whole Foods. But we have seen a surge in homeowners becoming backyard chicken ranchers. Do you wish you had a chicken coop at home, or do you think the coop craze has reached its saturation point?

Head over to X17 to see more of Aniston's home and H/T to the Daily Mail for bringing this phenomenon to our attention.
