On Sunday, daredevil Nik Wallenda completed a 1,500-foot high-wire walk over the Grand Canyon that had us all holding our breath.
This fearless feat reminded us of another man's walk on the wild side, this time in 1966. The unnamed man scaled and descended St. Mark's Bell Tower (Campanile di San Marco), a 160-foot structure in Venice's St. Mark's Square. Not quite as wild as Wallenda, this wild child played it safe wearing a harness attached to rope.
