Egyptians took to the streets en masse Wednesday to express their feelings about the ouster of President Mohammed Morsi by the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces. Opposition demonstrators gathered in Tahrir Square and outside the Presidential Palace in Cairo to celebrate the Army's move, setting off fireworks and waving scores of Egyptian flags. Supporters of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood also gathered in the suburbs of Cairo to protest the decision and back what they call Morsi's legitimate claim to control of the Egyptian government.
