Sarah Palin Responds To Mark Begich's Criticism She 'Quit On Alaska'

Palin Bites Back

Things are heating up between former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) and Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska) in the wake of Palin's announcement that she has "considered" running for U.S. Senate in 2014.

Palin took to Facebook on Thursday after her would-be opponent Begich told Politico that Palin "quit on Alaska," noting that she's spent a lot of time away from the state.

Palin's response, which criticized the freshman senator for his liberal agenda, had hundreds of followers expressing their support for her potential senate bid.

Mark, you recently said, “Alaskans pick who they want based on what’s good for Alaska.” Couldn’t agree more, Mark, which is why many hope to see great changes for our great state following the upcoming 2014 election. In the meantime, we suppose we’ll see much more playing of the ol' Washington political game using those inside D.C. reporters each time you have to distract from yet another bad vote for Alaska in the U.S. Senate. It cheers us up and gives us good opportunity to remind Alaskans just how loyal to the Obama agenda you have been.
