Vintage Ad From The 1940s Says WWII Soldiers Look Forward To New Bathrooms (PHOTO)

Let's imagine for a second that you're a WWII soldier, fighting the good fight during the height of war. What are you looking forward to most? The promise of a free world? Better food at home? Your loved ones?

No.

The answer is bathrooms. At least according to this vintage ad from the 1940s.

O.K. A nice, warm shower, sure. But a bathroom that makes ones "dreams come true" is never going to be high on one's wish list, at least when one is facing combat and threats to freedom.

This vintage ad was funny. These? Not so much.
