Tom Waddle's Lake Forest Home For Sale For Almost $4 Million (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Retired Bear's Suburban Mansion Hits The Market

Retired Chicago Bear and sports broadcaster Tom Waddle has put his suburban Chicago mansion on the market -- and it's a looker!

Per the Chicago Tribune, Waddle is selling the home after ending his contract as a Bears analyst and occasional sports anchor with Fox 32. He had worked for the station for 17 years and will continue to work as an analyst for the NFL Network.

Based on previous reporting in Chicago magazine, Waddle bought the 7,800-square-foot home in Lake Forest in 2010 for $3.25 million -- which was just less than half of the home's original $6.7 million asking price.

The home, according to its Coldwell Banker listing on Estately, has custom white oak floors, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms (six each, plus two more half-bathrooms for good measure) and is situated on a spacious 1.78-acre property. The mansion also has four fireplaces, a home theater room, a Whirlpool and a four-car garage.

Its listing price is $3.995 million.
