'America's Got Talent': Special Head Levitates Over Fire

Special Head had one of the more memorable performances during the audition rounds of "America's Got Talent." He levitated his entire body, after spending an awkwardly long time chanting in an obnoxious fashion. He went through to Las Vegas, where he impressed the judges again. This time, he levitated over open flames.

He leaned backwards, bending at the knees, until his body was parallel with the ground over a bed of candles. While his feet didn't leave the ground this time, he was nevertheless in an impossible position to maintain without support of some kind.

The judges were impressed, giving Special Head a spot in the live shows in New York, and they weren't alone. Hollywood Life listed him as one of their top five acts from the episode.

There were critics who were more skeptical, though. Buddy TV isn't sure how much longer he can last, describing his as "the pretentious white guru." CarterMatt agreed. Of his latest stunt, they said they weren't even sure he was levitating. It seemed more like he was just showing off his strength and balance.

"America's Got Talent" continues on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
