Cronut Creator Dominique Ansel Brings Cronut To MoMA's Rain Room (PHOTO)

PHOTO: Cronut Meets The Rain Room

Pastry chef Dominique Ansel visited the MoMA's Rain Room this week and brought along his wildly popular cronut creation for a photo op like no other. Stand back and behold:

The photo's just so now, you know? It perfectly combines two of the city's biggest attractions at the moment. People wait up to 10 hours to enter the Rain Room, and three hours for Ansel's dessert hybrid.

Lucky for Ansel, he was invited to a private after-hours viewing of the installation, skipping the insane line we cronut-less plebeians must suffer.

Anyway, the photo's perfect material for a 2013 New York City time capsule, if you're making one.
