Third Man Records Returns To Chicago With Rolling Record Store -- Just In Time For Pitchfork Fans

Jack White's Rolling Record Store Hits Chicago Friday

For music fans (especially vinyl lovers) unable to hike south to check out Jack White's aural playground known as Third Man Records, a bit of Nashville is coming to Chicago.

The truck will be parked from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and stocked with limited edition pressings, merchandise and other goods. White, the former White Stripes frontman, is known for his precise aesthetics and affinity for vinyl (particularly the offbeat, weird and beautiful variety), so plenty of cool (and potentially pricey) options are sure to abound.

Folks not hitting Pitchfork take heart: The last time White brought the wagon to the Windy City, he performed a surprise in-store at Reckless Records, so stick around long enough and you might get to see White grab a guitar.
