'Couples Therapy': Flavor Flav's Fiancee Finds Out She's Pregnant, Suffers Medical Emergency (VIDEO)

'Couples Therapy': Surprise Pregnancy, Followed By Medical Emergency

Things got pretty scary for Flavor Flav's fiancee Liz on "Couples Therapy." She hadn't been feeling well, and asked for a pregnancy test. When it came back positive, she broke down in tears. Having no faith in Flav to help her out, she was fearful of having to do things by herself.

Then, she started to act strangely, according to the staff. She may have even fainted. It was enough for Dr. Jenn Bermann to decide it was time to get her some medical help, but Liz resisted that. She went so far as to lock herself in so the EMTs couldn't get to her.

With Flav getting more anxious by the minute, the EMTs tried everything to convince her to go with them. One of them even tried to get aggressive, telling her, "You've got to go right now. This is getting ridiculous. You’re going, come on!”

But Liz was adamant. “Everything’s good," she said. Of course, the episode ended on a cliffhanger, so viewers will have to come back next week to see if everything is actually good. It doesn't seem likely, though, as other castmembers said Liz had seemed incoherent and had been frequently falling asleep.

Dr. Jenn spoke with VH1 about the episode and the escalating situation with Liz. "I do think viewers are starting to get a clearer picture of why Liz is the way she is, from her severe childhood abuse, to her relationship with Flav, and now knowing she is pregnant and hormonal and dealing with the stress of their relationship conflicts, it’s just a lot," she said. "She was under a lot of stress.”

Come back to find out what happens next on "Couples Therapy," Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on VH1.
