'Project Runway' Mean Girl, Miranda, Bullies Her Partner, Costing Them The Challenge (VIDEO)

The designers on "Project Runway" were split into teams of two, which inevitably leads to someone getting paired up with someone they don't like. In this case, it was Miranda who was very upset to find out she was partnered with Timothy. Both were from the same town in Wisconsin and apparently had a built-in rivalry back home.

Miranda let out her inner "mean girl" and didn't hold back at all with her new partner. "I’m tired of being upset and crying about him, so now I’m just going to be mean," she declared.

“I go into the workroom and Miranda is just going off," Timothy said. She was certainly true to her word. She ripped on his design skills, killed basically every idea he had for their dress, and ultimately reduced him to tears. Still she refused to apologize, because "mean girls" aren't sorry!

All of the discord cost the pair the challenge, but it was Timothy who wound up getting the boot. Buddy TV's Gina Pusateri couldn't believe Miranda treated Timothy so poorly, and she wasn't happy that Timothy went home over Miranda. “It really bugs me that Miranda is rewarded in any way for her behavior. Mean people like her who try and step on other perceived 'weaker people' like Timothy are pretty deplorable. She's a bully, and I hate that she got away with it.”

Olivia Elgart, writing for Hollywood Life, was okay with Timothy getting the boot, though. She noted that this wasn't the first time he's burst into tears on the show. Perhaps he's just too emotional to handle such a tough competition. And such a mean partner!
