YouTube is filled with video tutorials by beauty gurus who put their skills out there for the world to see and judge. Sometimes it works out really well, and other times a how-to turns into an unfortunate example of what not to do. Fortunately, Bethany Mota, aka MacBarbie07, has had better luck since launching her style-oriented YouTube channel back in 2009 when she was only 14.
Mota recently stopped by the HuffPost Live studios in Los Angeles to chat with host Nancy Redd about her daily beauty routine. After listening to the teen beauty talk about the best makeup for acne-sufferers, benefits of tinted lip balm and how groomed brows bring attention to eye area, we know exactly why she has over 2 million subscribers to her YouTube channel.
