Rob Ford's Taste Of The Danforth Appearance? Mayor Appears In Several Videos

WATCH: Videos Of Rob Ford Out On The Town Stir Buzz

Like many other Toronto citizens, Mayor Rob Ford checked out the Taste of the Danforth festival Friday night -- except his appearance appears to have been hastily uploaded on social media.

In one 57-second YouTube clip, Ford meets with passersby requesting photos, holding a Tim Hortons cup in his hand.

One of the people surrounding the mayor asks what he's doing, to which Ford replies "going to go up to the party, man."

"I wana get these kids playing football," he adds.

Later Friday night, two more videos were uploaded by the same YouTube user, Adrain Sosa.

Several more clips, from different angles, were also uploaded to Instagram.

The YouTube videos' titles suggested the mayor is "drunk" or "wasted" while a series of Instagram videos show different angles from the same interaction between the mayor and citizens.

Many on Twitter expressed scepticism about whether the mayor is inebriated in the videos, with some praising Ford for taking the time to interact with citizens. You can read some of the best tweets in the slideshow below.

Others were quick to poke fun at the mayor who has been the subject of intense media scrutiny since Gawker and The Toronto Star reported on an alleged video in which Ford appears to smoke crack cocaine.

Ford has denied that the video exists and that he does drugs.
