Guisados Art Theft: Taco-Loving Jerks Make Off With Dodgers Art (PHOTOS)

Beloved taqueria Guisados in Echo Park is appealing to its customers on Facebook to help find a thief that walked away with the restaurant's art.

The theft appears to have occurred Saturday afternoon. In a Facebook post Sunday, the restaurant published a photo of the thief, artwork in hand, and said that he and two friends were at the restaurant the day before at around 4 p.m.

The suspect appears to be wearing a Dodgers baseball jersey.

The restaurant also shared a photo of the stolen work: a black and white image of Dodgers player Orel Hershiser.

"Sad to even think one of our customers could be so low," commented the restaurant.

The Huffington Post left word with the LAPD about the theft and will update this story when they respond.

In addition to Guisados' delicious tacos (they're known for their made-from-scratch stewed meats.), locations in both Echo Park and East LA are known for the eclectic artwork that decorates their walls.
