Piers Morgan Airs Segway Accident, Demands $10,000 From John Oliver (VIDEO)

WATCH: Piers Morgan Responds To John Oliver's $10,000 Offer

Piers Morgan fired back on Tuesday night after John Oliver offered $10,000 to anyone who could produce footage of Morgan falling off a Segway.

On Monday's "Daily Show," Oliver poked fun at an interview where Morgan recalled he once fell off a Segway, and made a generous offer for video of the incident.

Morgan responded on Tuesday, saying, "Mock all you want Mr. Oliver, but, my fellow Brit, your punch line did carry with it a bona fide offer, to anyone you said, who could produce the video of me falling off a Segway, and by the way, breaking five ribs, collapsing a lung and nearly expiring from life."

The CNN host aired video of the incident, and continued, "But now it's time for you to suffer pain. Ten thousand dollars worth of pain in fact. I assume the money will be delivered by the end of business day tomorrow. If not, I'll make sure that Mr. Stewart, now he's back from his lengthy movie making sabbatical, will take it out of your measly little salary."

Morgan fell off said Segway in 2007 and broke three ribs, according to the newspaper's report. He was a columnist for the publication at the time, and was filming his ride on the Segway for the paper.

At least several people have tried to take Oliver up on his offer, according to the comments on the Youtube clip of the footage. "[Thumbs] up if you are here due to the daily show," one commenter wrote.
