Tensions in the Washington Nationals' dugout boiled over early in their game against the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night. Outfielder Jayson Werth and ace Gio Gonzalez got into a heated argument and it appeared that they needed to be separated.
In the first inning, Werth failed to hold Joaquin Arias to a single on a liner to right field and Gonzalez failed to cover first base in time for a potential inning-ending double play, per Bill Ladson of MLB.com
