'Blue Caprice' Trailer Chronicles Beltway Sniper Attacks In Harrowing Sundance Hit

Now that "Fruitvale Station" has made its post-Sundance impact, another harrowing true story from recent history is making its way to the big screen. Based on the Washington, D.C. area's Beltway sniper attacks that took place in October 2002, "Blue Caprice" stars "Grey's Anatomy" alum Isaiah Washington as John Allen Muhammad, the Louisiana-born serial killer who recruited a 17-year-old (played by Tequan Richmond) to assist in his murder spree.

Like "Fruitvale," "Caprice" was a breakout hit at Sundance, with The Hollywood Reporter calling the film "a disturbing, masterfully controlled thriller." The movie opens Sept. 13.
