Running back Armond Smith might have some trouble making the Carolina Panthers' roster after getting ejected from a preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday.
During the fourth quarter, Smith appeared to kick Ravens linebacker Albert McClellan in the groin after a play was over. A referee immediately threw a flag and tossed him from the game.
McClellan was asked about the incident after the game.
"Yeah, he kicked me, he got me," McClellan told Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. "I think he thought I was holding him down. Our legs got tangled up. He hopped up and kicked me. I did my best to keep my cool."
