The ladies of Danity Kane are reuniting after a five-year hiatus, but one key member will not be making her return.

D. Woods, real name Wanita Woodgette, will not be a part of the Danity Kane reunion, according to Us Weekly. She is currently working on solo projects and is booked through the next year.

"For the past couple of years, myself and the other DK members have been working on other projects individually, such as music, film, television, theater and philanthropy and I have recently signed on to several projects that will have me committed for the next year. My latest single "Gold Mine" is now available everywhere!" she told the magazine. "If the opportunity presents itself, I would definitely be open to recording and/or performing with Danity Kane again. I appreciate all the love and support of DK and myself. God bless!"

Woods offered her support in an Instagram post.

"There's alot of people talking, but there's nothing but love," she wrote. "Today's #GOLDMINEOFTHEDAY is none other than @Aubreyoday, @shannon_bex, @dawnrichard, @aundreafimbres1 otherwise known as @danitykane. Don't think you know their whole story cuz you watched part of their jounrey [sic] on MTV. These ladies are just getting started. Stay tuned...WERRRK!.#GOLDMINE is on ITUNES."

The other four members -- Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, Aubrey O'Day and Dawn Richard -- attended Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn and announced their reunion on the red carpet. They revealed they have a new song by the Stereotypes called "Rage" set to drop soon.

P. Diddy, who formed the group as part of the MTV reality series "Making the Band" and signed the girls to his Bad Boy Records, won't be involved. "You know, Diddy always finds his way back, but we're on our own this time," O'Day said.

The group saw success with their self-titled album and the follow-up, "Welcome to the Dollhouse," both of which skyrocketed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Their singles "Damaged," "Show Stopper" and "Ride For You" all reached Billboard's top 10.
