In an emotional scene at Citi Field on Monday night, Mets catcher John Buck was spotted consoling injured ace Matt Harvey in the dugout just hours after the team announced that he had suffered a partial tear of the UCL in his right elbow.
Sadly, Buck won't be in New York long enough to personally console all of the fans distraught by Harvey's injury. The catcher was reportedly traded to Pittsburgh Pirates a day after this heartfelt gesture of support.
