When Paul Phillips popped the question to his now-fiancee Erika Ramos earlier this month, he wanted the proposal to be a moment they'd never forget.
Phillips created a children's book for Ramos that features the story of a gorilla and a giraffe falling in love (Phillips says he's the gorilla and Ramos is the giraffe). Little did he know his proposal would go viral -- now that's memorable!
The couple stopped by "Good Morning America" Wednesday and opened up about the proposal and their love story. Of the proposal, Phillips said, "If you're going to spend that kind of time with someone, you'd better have the most memorable moment."
Take a look at images from Phillips' book, "A Tall Tale" (story continues below):

Phillps said it took about two weeks to write the story, and two months for the whole thing to come together, including illustrations and printing. "There's no doubt in our minds that we'll be reading [this story] to our kids," Phillips told GMA. "Hopefully it's their favorite book." Aww! Watch the video above for more.
