Paul McCartney announced on Wednesday that his second record in as many years, "New," would arrive in U.S. stores on Oct. 15 (it's out in the UK on Oct. 14). The album's title track was also released as McCartney's new single. (New "New" single?) The 71-year-old had been teasing "New" for days, posting single-word tweets that were incomplete without that title:
McCartney released "Kisses on the Bottom" last year, but that record was filled with mostly covers; "New" marks his first new album since 2007. Listen to "New," which sounds as Beatles-y and awesome as anyone would have any right to expect, in the window above.
