Colbert Calls Out Syria Hypocrisy

Stephen Colbert returned to "The Colbert Report" on Tuesday after a two-week hiatus, and after catching everyone up on his trip to Italy, he offered some pointed criticism on the U.S.'s potential war with Syria.

Specifically, Colbert compared our intervening overseas to the gun control problems we are currently facing at home.

"The United States has no choice but to attack Syria because Dictator Bashar al-Assad is killing his own people with chemical weapons," Colbert said. "Before, he was just killing them with bullets. But if America cared about shooting people, we'd be invading Chicago."
