A recent study by CreditDonkey.com reveals that Atlanta is the best U.S. city for newlywed couples starting a life together.

The study only looked at metropolitan areas with more than 1 million people and took into consideration factors such as the percentage of married couples in the city, the divorce rate, the average credit score and the average number of hours worked per week.

In May 2013, Rent.com released their list of the best cities for newlyweds with Tulsa, Okla. coming out on top. They based their selections on factors such as rental availability, number of married couples, number of children under six, mean annual income and cost of living. Cities like Minneapolis, San Jose, Calif. and Raleigh, N.C. made both lists.
