Bethenny Frankel Clarifies Comments About Giudice Indictment

Bethenny Frankel dropped by to visit her old pal Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens: Live." Frankel took the opportunity to clear the air about some comments she made about the legal woes of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars Teresa and Joe Giudice.

When the news first broke that they were being indicted on 39 counts of fraud, Frankel was asked about the situation, and she said that she didn't feel sorry for them. She was subsequently quoted almost everywhere saying that "people who love to be in the spotlight often have a lot of skeletons in their closet.”

While playing a game making predictions about current celebrity news stories, Frankel said of the Giudices, "My friend said that they’re going to the clink. But not for a long time, but that they will, because he has a friend in common. I don’t wish that on them. I got all this crap about that, and I honestly feel for their kids. And it’s a horrendous situation to be going through, but someone I know did say that. I don’t know. I don’t know anything about it.”

Frankel discusses all kinds of different topics on her new, self-titled talk show, "Bethenny." She has said that all of the current and former "Housewives" are welcome on the show ... so long as they're relevant to the discussion of the day. "Bethenny" debuted in syndication on Monday, and while it didn't deliver huge overall ratings, it did well in the coveted Women 25-54 demographic.
