Jon Stewart Mocks Wolf Blitzer's Obama Interview (VIDEO)

WATCH: Jon Stewart Takes Down Wolf Blitzer

Wolf Blitzer's interview with President Obama provided a gold mine for Jon Stewart on Tuesday night.

Blitzer, along with five other anchors, interviewed President Obama about Syria Monday afternoon. At one point, he asked Obama to look into the camera, talk directly to Assad and tell him what Assad needs to do in order to avert a U.S. military strike.

"Obviously, the journalists chosen to interview the president were selected for gravitas and professionalism, except for one who apparently won a radio contest," Stewart joked on Tuesday.

After replaying a clip of the interview, he had a message for Blitzer: "It's an interview — stop trying to make moments! You're talking to the leader of the free world about how we might avoid a possible World War III. You don't need to amp up the drama with theatrics!"
