Former Penn State Professor Freaks Out At Students About Campus Preacher (VIDEO)

WATCH: Former Professor Goes Nuts Over Campus Preacher (NSFW)

Andrew Bergstein, a former Penn State University professor, went on a profanity-laced tirade Thursday on campus in which he accused an on-looker of being a communist.

Bergstein interrupted the sermon from the Willard Preacher, a fixture on the Penn State campus who evangelizes to passing students and staff whether they want to hear it or not.

During the outburst, Bergstein yelled "F**k you!" at observers who defended the preacher's right to speak on public property. Bergstein repeteadly insisted that Penn State is not a public university, and shouted with a strained tone for people to look it up. (For the record, Penn State is a public research university, and the most expensive one in the country.)

Bergstein told people he currently teaches sports management in the Smeal College of Business, but according to Onward State, he retired in 2012.

"Shut your f**kin' trap, I don't want to hear you talk!" Bergstein shouted at one person who called him an embarrassment.

Towards the end of the video, Bergstein begins explaining -- seemingly out of nowhere -- his wife walked out on him when his child was 8 years-old.

Watch the outburst in the video below, but be warned it contains NSFW language.

People asked Bergstein if he was drunk, which he insisted he was not.

After at least 10 minutes of ranting, several police officers arrive on the scene and begin speaking with Bergstein. Officers broke up the crowd and are investigating, the Centre Daily Times reports.

Errol Henderson, a political science professor, went off on the Willard Preacher in a much more diplomatic tone back in January. That encounter did not require law enforcement.
