"Veep" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus talked about meeting Vice President Joe Biden on the 2013 Emmy red carpet on Sunday.

The actress said that Biden "was so nice" when they met in April, and that her kids were wearing Office of the Vice President cufflinks that he'd given them at the awards show.

Louis-Dreyfus met the vice president shortly after he called to congratulate her for her first "Veep" Emmy Award, and fourth award overall.

On Sunday, Louis-Dreyfus won her second Emmy for her portrayal of vice president Selina Meyer
