45 years ago, on September 24th, 1968, "60 Minutes" aired its first episode. It looked sort of different to today's broadcast, and there were some very weird little segments thrown in, but there was also a lot that current viewers might recognize -- Mike Wallace, for one. Since it first aired, the show has become perhaps the most successful and imitated news program in television history.
