Damascus Bombing Wounds Several In Tadamon Neighborhood, Syrian TV Blames Attack On 'Terrorists'

Several Wounded After Blast Hits Syrian Capital

Sept 24 (Reuters) - An explosion in southern Damascus killed and wounded several people on Tuesday, state television said.

Syrian TV said "terrorists" were behind the blast, a term it commonly uses to refer to rebels who are fighting to topple President Bashar al-Assad. The explosion hit the neighbourhood of Tadamon, which has been a battleground between rebel forces and the army for months.
