'The Blacklist' Slays The Competition

The James Spader NBC drama, which has been well-reviewed, had 12.6 million viewers and a 3.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Its competition, CBS's new series "Hostages," had 7.6 million viewers and a 1.8 rating. On ABC at 10 p.m. ET, the "Castle" season premiere had 13.8 million viewers and a 2.2 rating.

"The Blacklist" was aided by a 2-hour "Voice" premiere that had 14.7 million viewers and a 4.9 rating in the 18-49 demo. At 8 p.m. ET on CBS, the final season premiere of "How I Met Your Mother" had 9.2 million viewers and a 3.6 rating. "Dancing With the Stars" on ABC had 13.4 million viewers and a 2.3 rating while "Bones" on Fox had 6.7 million viewers and a 1.9 rating.

"Sleepy Hollow" on Fox has 8.6 million viewers and a 3.1 rating at 9 p.m. ET and the season premiere of "2 Broke Girls" on CBS had 8.8 million viewers and a 2.8 rating. The series premiere of "Mom" on CBS had 7.9 million viewers and a 2.5 rating.
