'Trophy Wife' Star Malin Akerman On The Show's Misleading Title, Possible 'Childrens Hospital' Crossover (VIDEO)

No, the title "Trophy Wife" isn't exactly great, but trust me: ABC's new comedy is one of the best of the season.

"Trophy Wife" (premieres Tues., Sept. 24 at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC) stars Malin Akerman as Kate, the party girl-turned-titular trophy wife to Bradley Whitford's Pete, who just so happens to have been married twice before (Marcia Gay Harden and Michaela Watkins plays his exes) and has three kids to show for it.

HuffPost TV sat down with Akerman, a new mom herself, to talk about that misleading title and how relatable the show really is ... and then she made dreams come true suggesting a crossover episode with her beloved Adult Swim show "Childrens Hospital." Seriously -- someone make this happen.

Watch the interview, above, and tell us: Will you watch "Trophy Wife"?

"Trophy Wife" premieres Tues., Sept. 24 at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
