Olivia Wilde had a strange run-in with a "Grey's Anatomy" fan in London recently.
The 29-year-old actress stopped by "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Sept. 24 and revealed that while she was in town for the "Rush" premiere, she met an admirer of hers at the screening's after-party -- except the woman ended up being a really big admirer of ... Ellen Pompeo's.
"This woman came up to me and she said, 'I think you're great,' and I said, 'Oh, thanks,' and she said, 'I loved you on your show, 'Grey's Anatomy' is one of my favorites' ... and [I'm like], 'I get it, totally understandable, but I'm not on 'Grey's Anatomy.'' And she's like, 'Yes you were.'"
Wilde goes on to explain that she tried telling the fan that she wasn't Pompeo (who plays Meredith Grey on the hit ABC show), but that it was "such a compliment" to be compared to her. Still, the woman just wouldn't give it up.
"She just was like, 'No you were, and I liked you on it, so let me just give you my card and if you ever need something you call me,'" Wilde said, adding, "And she gave me her card and she's a psychic!"
That's not the only weird thing that happened to Wilde that night ... she had a bizarre experience when her fiance Jason Sudeikis randomly showed up at the premiere.
"We're on the red carpet and the 'We're the Millers' posters were still up because they just had their premiere there, so as I'm walking my red carpet, Jason's big mug was looking down at me," she told Leno, "and I was like, 'Get out of here! This is my time!'"
