Is Iggy Azalea actually Miley Cyrus' fairy twerking godmother?

Most accuse Cyrus of appropriating twerking from black culture, but Azalea claims Cyrus lifted her signature dance move from somewhere more specific: her.

Speaking to Paper Magazine, the 23-year-old Australian rapper said she began twerking onstage long before Cyrus shed her wholesome Hannah Montana image in favor of the much-maligned gyrations.

"I've been doing that onstage for two-and-a-half years," Azalea said. "She probably f--king watched my videos online and decided to try it."

Azalea definitely didn't invent twerking, but in any case, the rapper took to Twitter on Monday to deem the trend dead.
