Rob Kardashian Would Choose His Sock Line Over His Family's Reality Show

Rob Kardashian: Give Me Socks Or Give Me Death

Rob Kardashian isn't hung up on being a reality star; he just wants to work on his sock line. And if you somehow missed it, Rob Kardashian now designs a luxury sock line called Arthur George, and believes people will pay as much as $30 a pair for footwear that tend to hurt our eyes.

"Literally, my job is I make socks. That's all I do. I don't necessarily care about the show. I would rather film this -- me doing what I do [making socks] -- than being around my family," the 26-year-old admitted in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal.

Uh, did Rob forget that the only reason he has a "luxury" sock line in the first place is his family?

Well, not entirely. Kardashian was quick to say that he's grateful for the opportunity to be with and live with his family.

"Not everybody even gets to live with their own family because they have to go to L.A. or New York or wherever to work and find a job and leave their family back home. But everyday I get to work with my family -- if I want to. And I'm all about family, that's how I was raised. We've all got each other's backs. And thank God, I have the opportunity to do what I love, which is my family and work on a business and try and make it the best that it can be," he explained.

Good boy, your momager has you well-trained.

Still, with all this in mind, it's interesting that Rob decided to shed the Kardashian name when he launched the line, telling Racked in 2012 that he didn't want people to associate Arthur George with his sisters' brand, and even more interesting that he put younger sisters Kylie and Kendall front and center in his ad campaigns earlier this year.
