"Glee" has done tribute episodes in the past in honoring musical icons such as Madonna, Britney Spears and songs of The Beatles, but this Thursday they pay tribute to one of their own as they say goodbye to Cory Monteith.

While a preview of the episode has been released, along with the track listing for the songs to be performed during the emotional hour, MTV debuted one of the numbers, a cover of The Band Perry's "If I Die Young," sung by Naya Rivera's character Santana.

When asked about the upcoming tribute episode, executive producer, Ryan Murphy told "People" magazine about the shoot:

People are still not over it. It is still really difficult. I've never seen a crew that can't continue shooting because they left the room sobbing. ... What you're seeing is what they felt not just about Finn, but Cory.

Other musical selections from "The Quarterback" include "Seasons of Love" from the musical "Rent," and Adele's version of Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love" sung by Lea Michele.

"Glee" airs Thursdays, 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
