'Chicago Fire': Mena Suvari Joins Cast, Targets Gabby's Ex

"Chicago Fire" added some additional star power when "American Beauty" star Mena Suvari joined the cast as Isabella, Gabby's friend and political consultant. In her first episode, she agreed to help Randy with his campaign for union president. But this is "Chicago Fire," and so it's not really a surprise that she also stirred up some relationship drama along the way, is it?

“It’s no chore hanging around a firehouse, if you know what I mean. I think Pete over there has a thing for me," Isabella said. "Oh, he’s your ex. Gabby, I didn’t realize. He’s off limits.”

“No, actually, you know what? He’s fair game," Gabby told her. But could their friendship really stand Isabella making a move on Pete?

Suvari took to Twitter to say that she had an "amazing time" on the show. Even better, this won't be the last time her fans get to enjoy her on "Chicago Fire." Isabella is a recurring character, which means she'll be back. Could a hot date be in her future?

Look for Mena Suvari to pop up again as "Chicago Fire" continues on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
